Background of the issue:
I was trying to update WPML to version 5.5.2.2 as requested 5 days ago, before updating WooCommerce to 10.3. After updating WPML, I did not update WooCommerce because it resulted in a 500 internal server error. I attempted to roll back WPML but was unsuccessful. My host identified the issue as being caused by the RewriteRule and RewriteBase settings in the .htaccess file, which seem to change to the language in which the website is translated at the moment. Symptoms:

Would rolling back to the previous WPML solve the problem?
