Background of the issue:
I am experiencing login problems on my site enlace oculto with users who have 'ä', 'ë', or 'ö' in their first name, last name, or nickname. The issue occurs only when logging in using the German language setting. There are no problems when logging in with the French language setting.

Symptoms:
Users with umlauts in their names cannot log in when using the German language setting.
