[Cerrado] Slow backend with advanced translation editor

Background of the issue:
I am trying to improve the speed of my WordPress backend. The backend becomes slow when using WPML, but it speeds up when I deactivate WPML or switch from the Advanced Translation Editor to the Classic Translation Editor. I am using Elementor, WooCommerce, and WPML, which might be causing the issue.

Symptoms:
The backend is slow when WPML is active and when using the Advanced Translation Editor.

Questions:
Why does the backend slow down when using WPML?
Is there a known issue with the Advanced Translation Editor causing slowness?
