Background of the issue:
I am working on a site and after updating the WPML plugin, some main features on my website got broken

I am trying to manage custom taxonomies in WPML. In WPML -> Settings -> Taxonomies Translation, the radio button is set to 'Not translatable'.

Symptoms:
When accessing the taxonomy listing, there are separate elements for each language, such as 'faq-fr', 'faq-es', 'faq' (for English), instead of being gathered under one common slug. Previously, all taxonomy items were gathered in one element with a common slug e.g. 'faq'.

Questions:
How can I reconnect taxonomy translations to their default language terms?
Why don't I see any form fields to connect duplicated elements with the main language (via https://wpml.org/faq/how-can-i-reconnect-taxonomy-translations-to-their-default-language-terms/)?
