Background of the issue:
I am trying to fix a problem with the language switcher on my website. When I change the main page's language to English, it redirects to the news page instead of the expected English version of the main page. The issue can be seen at enlace oculto.

Symptoms:
When I change the language to English, the site redirects from enlace oculto to enlace oculto instead of enlace oculto.

Why does the language switcher redirect to the news page instead of the English main page?
How can I configure the language switcher to redirect correctly?
