Background of the issue:
I am trying to activate the WPML String Translation plugin.

Symptoms:
An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 409 of the file /var/www/clients/client1/web87/web/wp-content/plugins/wpml-string-translation/inc/admin-texts/wpml-admin-texts.class.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting function (T_FUNCTION) or const (T_CONST).

Questions:
What is causing the syntax error in the WPML String Translation plugin?
How can I resolve the E_PARSE error when activating the plugin?
