Background of the issue:
I have transferred a website from another CMS to WordPress. I've used a CSV export from the other system to import all posts into WP. After importing all English posts, I've imported the German posts. After manually correcting some issues in the English posts, I wanted to do the same for the German posts.
Symptoms:
When I try to edit the German posts using WP, I get this message: 'Warning: You are trying to edit a translation that is currently in the process of being added using WPML. Please refer to the Translation Management dashboard for the exact status of this translation.' When I use the translation editor, it does not show me the German content that's already there.
Questions:
Is there a way I can tell WPML that there's already a translation in place?
How can I do this as a bulk operation?
