Problem:
The client is trying to change the slug for event type pages on their website using WPML, but the slug does not change as expected. Instead of displaying the Italian version 'tipo-evento' and its English counterpart 'event-type', the original slug 'event_listing_type' persists.
Solution:
We recommend updating WPML to the latest version, currently 4.6.11, along with its add-ons to ensure all functionalities are up to date. This update can be done via 'My Account -> Downloads' on the WPML site. Detailed instructions for updating can be found here.
After updating, follow the steps outlined in our documentation to translate URL slugs, which can be accessed here. It is crucial to backup the database before making these changes.
