[Risolto] Slug translation of ACF Custom Post Type

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the slug of an ACF Custom Post Type using WPML. I have translated the slug in the string translation, but it remains in Italian when viewed in English. The post type archive is active.

Symptoms:
The translated slug remains in Italian instead of English.

Questions:
Why does the translated slug remain in Italian?
How can I ensure the slug appears in English?

See the attachment: page title is ok, menu item is ok, slug remain italian but the string URL: wordpress slug is translated in english as wall-systems.
