[Risolto] trouble updating the blog posts

I'm having trouble updating the blog posts on my website because of mixed content issues from WPML. However, when I disabled WPML in my local environment, the website worked perfectly fine. I also tried using the Really Simple SSL plugin to resolve the mixed content issue, which worked well. But, when I disabled and reactivated the plugin, blog post editing stopped working.
