Background of the issue:
I am trying to maintain the functionality of my website link nascosto after updating the WPML plugin. The plugin is necessary for the English version of the site.

Symptoms:
After updating, the WPML plugin causes the website to crash, resulting in an empty screen when visiting the domain. Deactivating WPML resolves the issue.
