I’m a freelancer — a programmer and trader — and I’ve been managing my personal blog since 2008. Until 2023, my website was available in only two languages. This limited my reach, as my clients struggled to understand instructions for my programs and services. In 2024, I decided to explore WPML after hearing about it for years. I had been preparing to invest in plugins for my website and wanted a solution that could help me scale internationally. My website includes: 24 program instructions (20,000–50,000 words each), 70 educational articles (5,000–15,000 words each), 10 main pages (up to 5,000 words each), and over 1,000 additional elements and pages. The initial estimate for translating the entire site was around €10,000. Instead, I took on the challenge myself, spending 2.5 months translating my site into 12 primary languages using tools like DeepL, Google Translate, AI, and custom scripts. It was a massive undertaking. Through this process, I mastered WPML and can confidently say it’s the best investment I’ve made for my business. WPML saved me an incredible amount of time, offering a flexible, user-friendly, and efficient translation system. I’m also impressed by the excellent support and regular updates from WPML, which make managing a multilingual website truly enjoyable.
