Contexte de la question:
On my WordPress site using WPML, when a user selects a language from the homepage, the language is not retained while navigating to other pages. I would like the selected language to remain active across all pages as long as the user stays on the site.

Symptômes:
The user is always redirected back to the default language when navigating to other pages.

Questions:
How can I ensure the selected language remains active across all pages on my WordPress site using WPML?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML support team,

There are multiple common causes but would need to understand the exact case:

1. Incorrect Internal Links, missing translation
Are these internal links from menus, buttons or hypertexts, are they hardcoded or created via a page builder (like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery)
Because for example, I see that the footer links are not translated. Hence why the users are not getting the right language.

2. Browser Language Detection Setting

If active, disable “Browser language redirect” under “Language filtering for AJAX operations” or “Browser language redirect options”

At least for the footer, I can confirm that he links are not translated at all, so if you could share an access to your site along a list of the links that are not redirecting to the correct language, I could then check how these links are created and translate them for you,

Best,
