  1. I would like to ask if this translation plug-in saves the translated articles on your server or on the server of its own independent website?

    • The translations are stored in your WordPress database but also, if you translate automatically, we store the translation in our cloud to benefit from the so-called Translation Memory (this prevent from using translation credits again when translating the same content).

      the Multilingual CMS package allows you to use WPML on 3 production sites. For testing, you can also use it on additional 9 websites. Testing websites will show a WPML banner in the footer.

      Yes, with the Multilingual Agency package you can use WPML plugins on an unlimited number of websites for as many clients as you wish.
      Please note that to translate automatically, you need to use translation credits. The Agency package includes 180,000 translation credits. If you run out of credits, you will need to buy extra credits. This page explains your options.

    • If you don’t turn off automatic renewals, your subscription will be automatically renewed after the first year with a 25% discount. But renewals are optional and your plugin will still work even if you don’t renew. This page explains how you can turn off the automatic renewals.

      Yes, the Multilingual Agency package allows you to use WPML plugin on as many websites as you want (you can register an unlimited number of websites with the Multilingual Agency). You have to buy WPML from the purchase page where you can pay with your credit card or PayPal.

  8. Hello, in some special cases where the same page needs to display two different languages, or where certain content needs to remain in its original language, how does WPML address this?

    How are subdomains calculated? Do they count as two separate websites?

    • Hello,
      WPML shouldn’t be used with other Multilingual plugins, WPGlobus including. This can lead to unexpected and difficult to track conflicts.

    • Your WPML account will be created automatically as soon as your order is complete. In other words, as you don’t create your account, you have to buy WPML and the account will be created after your order is finalised. You will receive an email with the login credential soon after completing your purchase, so please be careful and don’t make any typo when inserting your email address.

  12. Do you offer a free trial period for your plugin? We would like to know how we can determine if it meets our needs. Additionally, could you explain the difference between 90,000 translation credits and 180,000 translation credits? Generally speaking, is the former sufficient for typical use?

  14. My colleague and I have created two WordPress on the same siteground.
    I want to test your plugin on WordPress2 first.
    If I decide to officially use it, can I use it on WordPress1 as well?
    In other words, for two WordPress on the same siteground, do I need to pay one or two fees?

    • Hello Yolanda,
      When you buy the Multilingual CMS package you can use WPML on 3 websites, so no need to buy any extra WPML package. Actually, you can use WPML even on 9 additional sites, if you registered them as development sites. So no need to be worried about. Only one WPML license is needed.
      If you planned to buy the Multilingual Blog package, you can register WPML only on one production site and on 2 testing sites. When registering your sites, WPML will ask you if a site is a production or development site. The only difference is that the development site will have a small banner added to your site’s footer that reads: “It’s a development site”.

      How to cancel automatic renewal:

    • Go to your WPML account: Log in to your WPML account.
    • Find your subscription details: Look for the subscription information, which might be on the left-hand side of your account page.
    • Click “Modify”: You’ll see a link or button next to your subscription details that says “Modify” or something similar.
    • Scroll down to Payment method: Look for the section labeled “Payment method”.
    • Click “Cancel automatic renewal”: You’ll find an option to cancel automatic renewals within this section.
    • Confirm: You might be prompted to confirm your cancellation.

      If you don’t renew your subscription after a year, you can still log into your account, however, you will:

    • Stop receiving plugin updates
    • Not have access to support
    • Not be able to register new sites even if you still have available slots

      • You can continue to use WPML, however, please note that WordPress and other plugins get updated all the time. As your site will be running an older version of WPML, you might run into different compatibility issues.
