Background of the issue:
We are running a multilingual website where each language is placed on a separate subdomain (for example: eng.sgpco.com, ar.sgpco.com, etc.). Symptoms:
Images on translated pages no longer appear or are not properly linked. The Arabic 'About Us' page shows the English version, even though the Arabic translation exists. When editing translated content (for example, updating a word in Arabic), the change reverts to the previous version and does not save. These issues started after the latest WPML updates.

Questions:
How can we fix the issue of images not appearing on translated pages?
Why does the Arabic 'About Us' page show the English version despite having an Arabic translation?
How can we ensure that changes to translated content are saved and not reverted?
