When editing a page in the original language (in my case using Elementor), the corresponding segments in the translation are completely deleted when using the Advanced Translation Editor.
I see that there are other support tickets reporting this issue and, as far as I understand, this behavior is considered intentional and “normal.” However, based on my experience with WPML, this workflow is absolutely not acceptable, as it requires translating the same segments repeatedly.
Therefore, my question is: are you planning to introduce an alternative solution in the near future, so that existing translations are preserved and do not need to be retranslated every time the original content is edited?
Or, for now, is the only viable solution to switch back to the Classic Translation Editor?
