Background of the issue:
I’m using WPML and Elementor, and I want to make sure my workflow is safe and won’t cause any issues.

Here’s what I’m doing:
1. I use WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) to automatically translate my posts from English to Spanish. I select the articles from “Translation management” > choose “Translate myself” > go to “Translations” > click on “Translate > click on “Translate automatically” and then “Complete translation”
2. Once the translation is done, I go to the WordPress editor and Elementor to make changes that I can’t do in the WPML editor.

Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.

Questions:
So my question is: Will my Elementor edits be safe if I don’t go back into the WPML editor after the initial translation? Do I need to take any extra steps to make sure everything stays as it is, or is it fine to just avoid the WPML editor after translating?
I saw a lot of WPML tickets saying that their translations are overwritten when they make edits to the original content. I edited the original content just to see what happens, but the translation wasn’t affected, which is good. I see that the status changed to “Completed - Needs update” - for the translation to update, I have to actively choose to do so, it won’t happen automatically, right?
