I'm contacting you because we're having some issues with language management on the WordPress platform for the site I'm reporting in question
Specifically, each language has its own "alias" domain (for example, for the EN version the associated domain is link nascosto for French link nascosto and so on.. ), but the Worpress platform has been configured on the main domain link nascosto, so the default language is Italian.
I'll list the other problems we've encountered since we published the site:
- from the frontend when you switch the language from the menu (burger menu in the top right), you can visit the translations but you cannot then return to the default language which in our case is Italian;
- from backend, when I select the language of the content to edit, the url is not updated based on the language chosen, for example if I am in the EN version and need to make changes in the French version, I use the menu at the top of the WordPress toolbar to change the language to FR, I see the contents in French but at the top there remains the URL massenzarigs.com rather than link nascosto (see screen "screen-1.jpg" in the attachment )
- always from the backend (referring to the previous point), using the language change option from the top WordPress menu, in addition to not displaying the URL of the chosen language, not all translations always display correctly. For example, if I am in the English version of the site I change to French, after which I move to the "Articles" section I select the "Edit" option of an article, at the bottom right the Categories are not displayed in French but in English (even though the categories have been translated into all languages), If I then select the category anyway, obviously the English one is then assigned to the article which is translated into French (this applies to all languages - see screen "screen-2.jpg" in the attachment ).
In summary, the problem seems that WPML cannot handle languages with "alias" domains. Can you help us solve these problems?

Quindi confermo che dal front-end riesco tranquillamente a visualizzare tutte le lingue e poi a ritornare alla lingua di default.
