Contesto del problema:
I am working on the site link nascosto and trying to use WPML for translation services. I have been looking at various translation services like Lilt, Smartcat, Smartling, RWS Language Cloud TMS, Crowdin, and Parlam. I have included detailed information about these services, including URLs, API keys, and other credentials.

Sintomi:
The page tools is a blank page.

Domande:
Why is the page tools showing a blank page?
Is there any documentation that I should follow to resolve this issue?

Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue you're experiencing. The Tools section can temporarily appear blank if there's an issue with the API. This usually gets resolved after performing a link nascosto">hard refresh. Would you please hard refresh the page and check if that helps in solving the issue?

If the issue persists, please follow these steps, as they have also proven to help resolve such issues:

- Please go to WPML > Support > Installer Support page
- Click on the "Check Now" button. You should see a Green Tick mark if the WPML API Server can communicate with your site without any issues.
- Noww, go to "Settings > Permalink" from yor WordPress dashboard
- Resave the Permalink strcture
- Clear the caches from Any optimization plugin that you're using and then check the 'Tools' section.

I hope the steps abvoe will help. But, if the issue persists after that, please check the browser console for any errors. If you find any, save the log and share it in your next response. I will review it and advise you on the next steps.

I did all what you said, but I still get a blank page in tools. See attached

Hello There,
Thank you for sharing the screenshot.

In the screenshot, I noticed a script from WPML is blocked due to the security feature enabled for your site. This blockage of the Script could be causing the issue. More specifically, the X-Content-Type-Options header with the value nosniff is present on the header that instructs the browser not to "sniff" or guess the MIME type of a file.

Would you please try the following and check if that helps in solving the issue?

- Please access the file system using File Manager or FTP
- Edit the .htaccess file.
- Copy the contents from there and save it somewhere.
- Now, add the following code in the .htaccess file and save the changes:

AddType application/javascript .js

- Clear the caches from your site and browser and then check if you're still having the issue.

Additionally, you can also reach out to your hosting provider and request them to disable the strict security headers.

I noticed the same and I edited the mime.properties file to change from application/x-javascript to application/javascript this didn't fix the problem so I put back x-javascript. I had also cleared all cashes and so on, the problem persists

I had also re-set the .htaccess file already

Thank you for trying out the suggestions. After making changes to the server configuration files, it is necessary to restart the server for the changes to take effect. Have you done that?

If the issue persists even after that, please add the following rule in your .htaccess file which will adjust the header information for the JS files.

<FilesMatch "\.(js)$">
    Header set Content-Type "application/javascript"
    Header set X-Content-Type-Options "nosniff"
</FilesMatch>

After making the changes, clear the caches from your site and server, and then verify if the JavaScript files are being served with the correct MIME type. You can do this by inspecting the response headers in the browser's Developer Tools.
