The client is experiencing an issue where the English version of their homepage still displays French content, despite having completed the translation using WPML with Elementor on WordPress. They have already cleared the cache but the problem persists.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:
1) Ensure WPML and Elementor are updated to the latest versions. 2) Increase the WP Memory Limit to at least 256MB. For more details, see WPML minimum requirements and increasing memory allocated to PHP. 3) Increase the MaxInputVars in PHP settings to 10000. More information can be found here: increase PHP MaxInputVars limit. 4) Make a minor edit to the original language homepage and save the update. 5) Update the translation of the homepage. 6) Clear all caches, including browser cache, page caching plugins, Elementor cache, and server/CDN cache if applicable.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, or if the solution becomes outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.
