Hello,

On my website (lien caché), I have a language switch that allows me to switch from French to English, and vice versa.

However, a former colleague added the "US" option, which is not a translation made with WPML, but simply a redirection to another site. It appears as the last item in the list of languages.

Which file do I need to modify to remove this item or update the link?

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I visited your site and check the source code and it seems that this link is not from the WPML selector itself. It doesn't have the WPML CSS classes that items from the selector should have. That confirms that the link is not from a translation from WPML as you mentioned.

I think it has been added through custom code. Probably in your functions.php file or directly in the header.

Note that custom codes are out of the scope of our support, but I can have a quick look if you want. For that I would need access to your site (or a staging copy).

I will activate a private field for your next answer where you can provide that information safely (this field is only visible by you and the support team). Don't share your own admin account, create a new one that you will delete when we finish troubleshooting.

IMPORTANT: Before we proceed, please backup your site and database.

Please install "WP File Manager", this plugin will give me access to your theme files from the dashboard.

We have strict security rules and unfortunately I can't give you access to our backoffice.

However, I notice that in my header.php file, the menu is created via the do_action('wpml_add_language_selector') instruction;

Perhaps the solution is in the wpml_add_language_selector function? If so, does your plugin have this function by default?

Yes, that's correct 'do_action('wpml_add_language_selector')' is used to display our selector.

However I think that you have a function or a JS that modify the behavior and add this custom link (that's not a feature we offer).

If it's a JS it will probably target either the ID #lang_sel or a CSS Class with wpml-ls in it (.wpml-ls-statics-shortcode_actions, .wpml-ls wpml-ls-legacy-dropdown, .js-wpml-ls-legacy-dropdown)
