Hello Ilyes,
I'm sorry but I'm still having troubles with urls versions...maybe linked with the url repertory format.. I've translated my pages contents but when I click on the french or spanish version, I've got a error message (here enclosed):
An example:
english version: lien caché
french version: lien caché
spanish version: lien caché
It's the case for almost all my pages!
thank you for your help!

Hello,

Just a quick update on this,

I have re-downloaded your site locally in order to disable a couple of plugins and run some tests freely,

I still couldn't locate the issue even though these pages are working in the backend (and never once worked in the front end)

I'm escalating this issue to our 2nd tier in hope they could find the cause,

Thanks again for your patience,

Hello,

In the end I figured it out after a couple of tests locally, the "cours" page is now working fine in French : lien caché

It turned out that the issue is similar to this one : https://wpml.org/forums/topic/sub-pages-on-additional-languages-not-working/#post-11796399

So long story short, you are currently not translating your slugs, your slugs are getting created automatically from the titles of the page as shown here in WPML settings: lien caché

This means that if you translate the title from Course (EN) to Cours (FR), that page URL in French will be site.com/fr/cours

But this URL seems to be used somewhere else in your site, so I manually changed it in the french version to fr-cours , which seemed to fix the issue immediately.

This could be a hidden Slug (course / cours) used under TutorLMS or other plugin, I didn't not look further into it, but the easiest way to fix this is to simply change the slug of the pages that give a 404 error manually from here :

- lien caché
- lien caché

One other edit I made, I have applied this code under your live site to avoid any caching conflicts with third party plugins: https://wpml.org/errata/htaccess-is-rewritten-with-language-folder/

And finally, I deleted WPML cache and synchronized pages from WPML > Support > Troubleshooting.

I hope this is a suitable solution for your issue,

Best,

Thank you for all these infos...I hope on a long term period with updates all that "tricks" won't break all the website...?!
When I log in with an instructor profile I've got a redirection to the wrong page no... Would it be linked to the url changes?
I don't know where this url comes from ?! lien caché
In case you would know?!
thank you for your help!

Hello,

These changes are normal and wouldn't get removed UNLESS, you update the translation of the concerned page in the future, just make sure that the slug isn't set to "cours" for that page.

For the URL, did you mean the URL lien caché

This is a unique URL generated by TutorLMS for each user, for example for me, this url is : lien caché

Not sure about the logic behind it, I think TutorLMS team would know better on how it works,

Best,
