Problem:
You are trying to translate the content of an ACF link on your development site. In the WPML plugin settings, the custom field link is set to 'copy' with a lock symbol, preventing you from setting it to 'translate'.
Solution:
If the translation preference for the Field group containing the field is set to anything other than 'Expert', you will not be able to change the Translation preference for that specific field from the Custom Field Translation section. To effectively modify the translation preference of certain fields, follow these steps:
- Navigate to 'ACF → Field Group' and open the Field group which includes the specific field.
- At the top, there is an option to modify the Translation mode. Click on the 'Change Option' link there.
- Choose the 'Expert' mode from the available options.
- After selecting 'Expert' mode, scroll down to the field you wish to change the translation settings for.
- Adjust the translation Preference as needed and then save your changes.

Contesto del problema:
Sto cercando di tradurre il contenuto di un link ACF sul mio sito in fase di sviluppo. Nelle impostazioni del plugin WPML, il campo personalizzato link è impostato su 'copia' e c'è il simbolo del lucchetto, quindi non posso impostarlo su 'traduci'.

Sintomi:
Non riesco a tradurre il contenuto di un ACF link.
