Hello There,
Thank you for contacting WPML Support.
As the tickets in French support forum is higher than usual, I took this ticket and responding in English to reduce the waiting time. Please let me know if you're okay with it or want me to forward this ticket to one of my French speaking colleague. I will be happy to do that for you.
I understand the issue you're having. Typically, this error arises when the script tries to use the 'wp' object before it's initialized. Does the issue persists even if you keep WPML deactivated?
If that's the case, then other plugins or the theme on your site might be causing the problem. Please disable other plugins and switch to a default theme like twenty twenty-one and check again. If that solves the issue, start activating the plugins and theme and after activating each, continue to check the issue. In this way, you'll be able to pinpoint what actually causing the issue.
But, if the issue gets resolved after deactivating WPML, please share more information about the issue and the link to the page where you're having the issue. I will check and be happy to assist you further.
Hi,
No problem with an English answer.
So I couldn't try deactivating WPML because the issue didn't seem to appear when I was logged in. Which pointed me to my cache.
It appears that before optimization and cache, the issue doesn't seem to happen so I've contacted this service and will let you know when I know more.
Indeed, caching could be a potential reason. Upon checking, I also found that this often occurs due to the deferred loading of JavaScript. But, maybe the service provider has a better explanation for this.
Let me know the update. We are always here to help.
