I'm working on the Carbonaut.co website. The issue is that the products listed there are organized into certain categories, which can only be added or removed correctly in one language, but not in the “secondary” languages. So, for example, I want to remove a category from a product under “bagels,” and I can only do so on the CA-EN site, but if I go to the US site or the CA-FR site, the changes aren’t reflected and the category gets selected when reloading the page. The goal is to have the three bagel variants (Plain, Herbs, and Lemon-Blueberry) with the “GFCP” badge removed ONLY on the US site.
1.- The behavior you are describing with the categories is the expected behavior. If you delete a category in the original language, you need to delete the translations of that category so the changes take effect in the secondary languages.
To delete the categories on the secondary languages, you need to select the corresponding language in the categories page in the backend, then find and delete the category.
2.- The enlace oculto is loading correctly on my side. Can you confirm that the page loads on your end?
It does now but i had to load up a backup for it to load.
The idea is that when I de-select a category in a secondary language, it should disable it, but it never get deselected nor it disappear in the page. How can we only deselect categories in the secondary language
In this case, I will need you to describe the exact steps you are following to deselect the category in the secondary language and to share a URL where the issue can be seen. The best way to describe the issue is to create a video (using Loom, Kommodo, or any other tool) and share the link in your next message.
