Boris

Background of the issue:
I am translating paragraphs of text via the ATE for a site under development. The translation is already present on the old website, so I copy/paste the entire paragraph of text.

The default language text contains formatting markers.

Symptoms:
The translation I paste does contain line breaks, but when I save the translation, I get the message:
'The original sentence includes formatting markers. However, not all markers are applied to the translation.'

I cannot save the field, it remains orange. The translation therefore cannot be completed.

Sometimes I am able to save it (don't know why), but then the translation is not published and when I re-open it, it is still not at 100%.

Questions:
I thought this might help: https://wpml.org/errata/line-breaks-are-ignored-when-using-the-advanced-translation-edior/
So I disabled "I prefer bigger segments", but that does not help. It doesn't divide the field into segments (not that I would want that, it would mean a lot more time pasting all content).

How can I paste my translations without the linebreak issues?
