Background of the issue:
I'm trying to add a custom language switcher inside a full screen tablet/mobile menu I've already created using Elementor PRO Popups. Whenever I try to add the wpml ls inside the popup, it does show but doesn't work. I used the exact same widget for my custom footer and it works great! Unfortunately, the whole site is protected under a VPN so for you would not be possible to check it out by yourself.
Symptoms:
The custom language switcher inside Elementor popup doesn't work. It is visible, it adds a '#' at the end of the URL page if clicked, but doesn't open the dropdown menu when clicked and doesn't redirect to any translated page.
Questions:
Why doesn't the custom language switcher inside the Elementor popup work?
Why doesn't the dropdown menu open when the language switcher is clicked?
Why doesn't the language switcher redirect to the translated page?
Com'è stato inserito il selettore di lingua? Quello di Elementor ha alcuni problemi con WPML anche se non mi risulta quello che riporti. Hai provato con lo shortcode?
direttamente tramite Elementor, ho selezionato il widget WPML Language Switcher e posizionato all'interno di un flexbox container all'interno del popup stesso. Forse devo utilizzare direttamente lo shortcode bypassando il widget di elementor?
Purtroppo l'intero website è sotto una VPN che impedisce la connessione esterni.
Come puoi vedere dallo screeenshot, le classi .wpml-ls-legacy-dropdown-click .wpml-ls-sub-menu hanno la visibility impostata su hidden, che, se manualmente modificata su visibile, mostrano correttamente il submenu, interagibile e che effettivamente mi redirecta sulla pagina tradotta al click.
Ho utilizzato lo stesso identico widget nel footer e funziona correttamente, andando con l'inspect, è evidente che al click sul dropdown viene iniettata la condizione "visibilty: visibile" direttamente sull'element che contiene la lista delle lingue non attive. Per qualche motivo, all'interno di un Elementor Popup, quella logica non funziona più ed al click sul dropdown, la visibility resta su hidden.
Se il sito non è accessibile potresti provare a riprodurre in una link nascosto">sandbox? Capisco il problema che mi spieghi ma al secondo livello devo passare qualcosa di più concreto.
