[Risolto] Unable to translate a file and image field using Expert mode

Hi, i am working with WPML and ACF. I have set the multilingual setup to "Expert" of the ACF Field Group i'm working on. I am trying to translate a file field and a image field so i set the translation preferences to "translate" of these two fields. Despite this they are not editable in the translated language. what am i doing wrong?
