Problem: The client was experiencing issues with their website's connection to the WPML and ATE servers, receiving errors such as 'Your site can't communicate with https://api.wpml.org/. Code 403.' and 'ATE Server Communication - Service Unavailable.' Despite whitelisting the necessary URLs, the problem persisted. Solution: First, we confirmed that the client had whitelisted the correct URLs as per our documentation: WPML connection troubleshooting documentation. Next, we escalated the issue to our systems team to investigate if there was a block on our end. It turned out that the issue was caused by a regex rule on our server that was blocking the pattern appearing in the client's URL. We resolved the issue from our side.
