Next, check the menu assignment in Appearance → Menus for the English language to confirm it's set correctly. If issues persist, manually create and assign a distinct English menu. Additionally, inspect the problematic menu item (

) in your browser's development tools for any missing classes, conflicting CSS, or style overrides. Also, check for any unexpected 'direction: rtl;' CSS or missing classes in your Salient theme. We suggest increasing your WP_MEMORY_LIMIT to 256M in your
wp-config.php
file, as the current setting is 40MB, which is below the recommended level.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be due to theme-specific integration with WPML or a deeper technical problem. In such cases, we recommend conducting a hands-on inspection of CSS/HTML output and theme location assignments for the English menu. Verify the integrity of the menu object/post translation in the database for potential corruption or mapping errors. Consider replicating the issue on a staging site with increased memory to isolate the problem.
