Compatibility between Smush Plugin and WPML
Smush is fully compatible with WPML. It improves site performance by compressing images without visible quality loss, lazy loading them and scaling oversized files down to a maximum size you choose. WPML runs your site in several languages while Smush keeps the media library light for all of them, so every language version loads quickly.

Smush makes it easy to improve your site performance by optimizing your images. Smush uses compression (lossy or lossless depending on your choice), lazy loading images, and maximum dimensions that images will scale down to during compression. It helps you pinpoint images that are slowing your site, and even lets you optimize images in bulk.
Smush Pro uses a CDN that serves images from 45 locations. This means your images will load quickly for all of your visitors, regardless of location, and your site will rank better in search results.
