Problem: The client reported an issue where some content created using the ACF plugin and translated a few weeks ago was not displaying as translated on their website. Despite updating plugins, new posts were translated correctly, but older posts showed only partial translations. The issue was specific to custom post translations and not related to String Translation.
Solution: We advised the client to: 1. Update the WPML plugins to the latest version (v4.7.6) via Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab. 2. Ensure all other plugins and themes are also updated. 3. Create a full site backup. 4. Flush any cache memory. 5. Update the translation settings in WPML -> String Translation. 6. Change the Language URL Format in WPML -> Languages to 'Different languages in directories' and re-save the permalinks.
