Merci. Cordialement, |

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to WPML Support. I'm Prosenjit from the WPML Development Team, and I'll be happy to help you resolve this issue. Before we proceed, I wanted to let you know that my French-speaking colleagues are currently unavailable, which is why I've picked up your ticket and am responding in English. I hope that's okay with you. If you'd prefer support in French, please let me know in your next response and we'll see what we can arrange. I understand you're experiencing missing orders in WooCommerce. This kind of issue typically occurs when the translation settings for the order post type are set to "Translatable." However, I've checked your WPML Debug info and can confirm it's set to "Default," so that's not the problem here. Since orders are missing from WooCommerce, we need to determine whether WPML is actually involved in causing this issue. Here's why I'm asking: WPML's code barely touches WooCommerce orders, and when the preference is set to "Default," WPML shouldn't be modifying anything in the orders section at all. Could you please try the following and let me know the results? First, temporarily deactivate the WPML plugin on your site and check if the orders are still missing. This will help us confirm whether WPML is actually causing the issue or if there's a conflict with another plugin. I also noticed you're using Object Cache on your site. After testing with WPML deactivated, please also clear all caches and check again. These tests will help us understand whether this is genuinely a WPML issue or if something else is interfering with WooCommerce's order display. Please let me know what you find, and I'll be happy to assist further based on the results. Best regards, |

Merci. Cordialement, |

Hello Flore, Thank you for the update. I'm glad to hear that disconnecting and reconnecting PayPal solved the issue! Sometimes these types of issues can occur due to caching or synchronization problems with payment gateway connections. Since you're using Object Cache on your site, this is definitely possible. For future reference, it's always a good idea to clear the object cache when troubleshooting similar issues. Rest assured, WPML is very unlikely to interfere with WooCommerce orders or cause payment-related issues. Regarding what ChatGPT suggested: In WPML → Languages → URL Settings, there isn't an option to verify what ChatGPT mentioned. However, you can check this from WPML → String Translation instead. From String Translation, search for those paths. If they appear in the results, check the translation column: - A "+" icon means they're not translated If you see the pencil icon, click on it and verify that the translated value matches the default value. If they're the same, then everything is fine. If they're different, you might need to adjust them to match the default language — though this is highly unlikely to be an issue. Based on everything we've seen, WPML doesn't appear to be interfering with your orders or payments. The issue was most likely related to PayPal settings or a synchronization problem in WooCommerce itself that wasn't properly configured. For peace of mind, I'd recommend checking your Order and Payment-related settings in WooCommerce to ensure everything is configured correctly. If needed, refer to the WooCommerce documentation to verify your setup. If you have any other questions or need clarification on anything, feel free to reach out. I'm here to help! Best regards, |
