Changelog
This release makes navigation caching more reliable and improves compatibility with other WPML components.
Navigation caching and rendering
- Editing a page’s offsite URL now immediately updates the navigation cache, so menus reflect the change right away.
- Fixed a fatal error that could occur when the navigation cache was enabled.
- Removed a PHP warning that appeared when rendering navigation on a fresh install.
- The navigation sidebar now loads faster, especially on sites with many pages.
Compatibility and stability
- Fixed a fatal error that could occur when an outdated version of WPML String Translation was active.
- CMS Navigation now checks companion plugin versions consistently, preventing crashes caused by outdated versions.
- Fixed an issue where translated private posts were missing from results returned during scheduled (cron) tasks.
Settings
- Removed the legacy removed-languages table from Settings → Languages, leaving the new Removed languages panel as the only place to manage them.
Security
- This release includes security hardening.
Update or download
The update is available to all WPML clients with an active subscription — it appears on the Plugins page in your WordPress admin within 24 hours of release. You can also check for it right away under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial. To download and install manually, go to Downloads in your wpml.org account (see the installation instructions) and remember to update all components together without mixing versions.
