Changelog

Using a different file for a translation works on Windows, and Media Translation's screens follow the admin language.

  • The Media Translation filter bar is now translated as one whole sentence, so it reads naturally in every admin language.
  • Applying a translation to a post with many custom fields is faster.
  • Uploading a different file for a translated media item works on Windows.
  • The Media Translation popup opens for media files that have no custom fields yet.
  • Built and released together with WPML 5.2.0, with the same shared library version.

Read the release announcement for WPML 5.2 for the full story behind this version.

Update or download

The update is available to all WPML clients with an active subscription — it appears on the Plugins page in your WordPress admin within 24 hours of release. You can also check for it right away under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial. To download and install manually, go to Downloads in your wpml.org account (see the installation instructions) and remember to update all components together without mixing versions.
