General Improvements

  • Removed the last step of the WooCommerce Multilingual Setup Wizard, which was used to select the translation preference for products. The “Translate” setting is now the default for all products, which means that the frontend will display only translated products in secondary languages.
  • Updated the internal OTGS Installer to version 3.1.14.
  • Fixed a problem that happened when using the Advanced Translation Editor to translate local attributes that were previously modified in the original variable product.

WooCommerce 10.1 Compatibility

  • [WC 10.1] Added support for the change in WooCommerce 10.1 which allows users to configure the payment gateway country limiter for “offline” gateways.
  • [WC 10.1] Improved the generation of “Add to cart” links that include the ?lang= parameter.

Fixes

  • Fixed the issue where manually editing a translation of a variable product would cause it to lose all product variations. This happened when editing a variable product using the native WordPress editor which was not the selected translation editor.
  • Fixed an issue where replies to reviews and reviews posted by administrator could not be translated. It is now possible to translate these using String Translation.
  • Fixed an issue with the action on the WooCommerce → WooCommerce Multilingual → Troubleshooting page that clears out the translations of the Product Types taxonomy.
  • Fixed an issue with the translation of store URLs for product categories and tags.
  • Fixed an issue where products translated using the Classic Translation Editor would continue to open in that editor even after changing the editor to the Advanced Translation Editor (and not checking the option to use the new editor for content already edited in Classic Translation Editor).
  • Improved performance of the admin notice that informs the user that their currency switcher template uses TWIG.
  • New PHP templates for Custom Currency Switchers are now detected correctly in themes.

Compatibility with Other Plugins

  • [WooCommerce Bookings] Reverted a change introduced in WCML 5.5.0 that was meant to improve the booking mechanism when the product has no translation and show correct availability status.
  • [WooCommerce Bookings] Fixed a PHP notice that was logged when configuring email parameters in the administration panel (WooCommerce → Settings → Emails).
  • [WooCommerce Bookings] Fixed an issue where the time slot booking was inconsistently blocked in secondary languages.
  • [EU/UK VAT Validation Manager for WooCommerce] Improved the rounding of shipping amounts when VAT is set.
  • [WooCommerce Product Add-Ons] Fixed an issue with WooCommerce 10.0.3 or newer causing a never-ending spinner when adding a new product addon.
