Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand what you're looking for. The permalink structure is likely set to Post ID, which is why the posts are showing their ID in the URL instead of the slug. Please go to "Settings > Permalinks" in your WordPress dashboard and select the "Postname" option. Save the changes afterward. Even if the "Postname" option is already selected, you still need to resave the permalink structure.

Please let me know how it goes. I'll be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi There,
Thank you for the update.

Another possible reason is that if you're trying to access a page or post that is saved as a draft, the slug will display the ID of the page or post. Could you please check the translated post/page and make sure that the status of them is set to Published?

- From your WordPress dashboard, switch to a secondary language using the Language switcher on the Topbar.
- Go to the Pages/Posts section.
- Check the translated posts and ensure they are published.

If the issue persists, please share the link to a translated page so I can investigate further. Additionally, please provide the WPML Debug Information of your site to give me a better overview of your site and system.

- Here's how to get the Debug Info: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Copy the info and paste it into the Debug Information box right below the reply box.

I will check all the information and guide you accordingly. Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
