[Gelöst] Edited string translation not showing up on website

Background of the issue:
I have a text that includes a currency, like: Onderstaande prijzen zijn op basis van 2 personen.Ieder extra persoon € 7,50 per nacht extra.Kinderen t/m 11 jaar € 3,75 per nacht extra. In the translation everything is fine, except I would like the amounts to be displayed in the local currency, like $. I found the string in the string translation and made the translation in my other languages.

Symptoms:
The edited string translation is not showing up on the website's front end.

What am I doing wrong with the string translation?
Why is the edited translation not appearing on the front end?
