The production site is versteckter Link, and products, categories, etc., are posted from the ERP into WooCommerce using the API. We work with sites that can have over 7000+ products. All works fine for one language, but now the site is growing, and we added other languages like English and French. Symptoms: When I translate the product category, it creates a new category, requiring us to link the products to the new categories. This causes issues like categories not showing, products not showing, and syncing problems with the ERP. Questions: How can I translate the category name but keep the same category id so the products remain linked to the same category and just switch the label when switching the language? I tried keeping the same slug but is not working.

Background of the issue:
