WPML

Overview of the Issue

When using the Bricks theme to add custom attributes (e.g., placeholder) to elements, the attributes appear in WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) for translation. However, after completing the translation, the translated custom attributes are not displayed on the frontend. Instead, the default language content is shown.

Workaround

This issue is fixed in Bricks 2.2. Updating solves it on your site, so you only need this workaround if you can’t update yet.

For now, you can manually edit the translations instead of using WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor.
