Word Count Discrepancy with GoodLayers Core Plugin in WPML

Overview of the Issue

You may notice inconsistencies in the word count feature when working with the GoodLayers core plugin. The reported problem is that WPML’s translation management system is not accurately counting the words in pages or posts created using GoodLayers.

Workaround

Update to WPML 5.1 or later. WPML 5.1 counts the words of GoodLayers pages correctly, including the text GoodLayers stores in custom fields.
