Antecedentes del problema:
He borrado la descripción de un producto en mi sitio web mediante traducción automática ATE usando WPML. El sitio web es enlace oculto y el producto es enlace oculto. He borrado la caché.

Síntomas:
La descripción del producto sigue apareciendo en el front end a pesar de haberla borrado.

Preguntas:
¿Por qué sigue apareciendo la descripción del producto en el front end después de borrarla?
¿Cómo puedo asegurarme de que los cambios realizados en la traducción se reflejen correctamente en el sitio web?

I understand the issue you're facing. If you've removed the description from the default product, you need to update the product translation afterward to reflect the changes. Once the translation is updated, the description should no longer appear in the translated product. Even if content is deleted from the default post or product, it's necessary to update the translation to ensure the translated version matches the default product.

Could you please verify that the product translation has been updated after removing the description from the default product?

Hi Prosenjit,

I have a similar problem now (the before because was a manual translation I deleted manually).
Now:

How is possible In my ATE product I only have my short description. I removed the long description.
And is showing in front End.

I do not understand I deleted cache. Changed browser. Updated the product. Entered as incognit.
Please can you open for me this url and check if you see or not a long description? Or maybe is because my cache.

Thank you for the update.

I reviewed the product and noticed that the description is visible, even though it's not present in the default English product. From the screenshot, I identified the translation job ID and checked it in our system. The status is marked as 'in-progress,' meaning the translation isn't yet completed. This is why the translation in the ATE hasn't been applied, and the manually added translation from before is still being displayed.

To ensure the content displays correctly in each language, please open the translation editor and verify that all content has been translated accurately. Once the translation progress reaches 100%, click the `Complete translation` button, as shown in this enlace oculto">screenshot.

Hi Prosenjit,

I did a test. Selecting Complete translation in ATE for the following product in Danish:
But still I see the text.

Native product: enlace oculto

Translation to Danish: enlace oculto

And I did other test: In description I wrotte 3 words. But like this the program has translated correctly.

Native product: enlace oculto
Translation to Danish:enlace oculto

What I see maybe there is a bug when the text is deleted completelly?
Please let me know what to do.

Thank you for the update.

Please note that no bugs have been reported to us regarding content deletion. Typically, when content is deleted and the translation is updated, the corresponding content in the translation is also removed.

However, I tried to check the translation status of the products you mentioned in your last response but couldn’t find any relevant details. Since the content isn't updating correctly in the translation, please try the following steps and see if it makes a difference.

- Please go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting
- Click on the following butttons:

=> Synchronize posts taxonomies [Select "Products" from the Dropdown associated with it and then click the button]
=> Clear the cache in WPML
=> Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
=> Fix element_type collation
=> Fix WPML tables collation
=> Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
=> Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
=> Assign translation status to duplicated content
=> Set language information
=> Fix post type assignment for translations
=> Cancel in-progress automatic jobs

After completing the steps, clear the cache from both your site and browser. Then, open the default product in the editor, make a small change to the title, save the changes, and update the translation. Ensure that the translation progress shows 100% completion, and then click the "Complete Translation" button.
