[Résolu] Hello I only see the French flag but I can't change to choose the other language
Ce sujet est résolu. Voici une description du problème et de la solution.
Problem: The secondary language flag was missing from WPML Language Switcher. Solution: Ensure that you have translated your site pages into the secondary language and that these pages are set to 'Published' status, not 'Draft'. You can confirm this by logging into your site and checking if the language switcher appears correctly for logged-in users. If it does, then the issue is likely due to pages being in 'Draft' status, and you can resolve it by changing the status to 'Published'.
Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I visited your site and I can see the issue on your site. WPML displays the secondary language flag when the translation is available in that language. Can you please make sure you have translated your site pages into a secondary language and the secondary language page status is set as Published and not Draft?
You may confirm it by checking the issue after logging in to your site. If it’s working correctly for logged-in users then this issue is due to the Draft status and you can fix it by switching the Draft page status to Publish.
Yes, I can see the other languages on the language switcher for that page and some other pages. But for the pages that are causing issues, could you please check two things:
1. Please make sure the translation is 100% complete in secondary languages.
2. The status of page is set as Published and not Draft.
If the issue still persists on any page, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.
Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.
=== Please backup your database and website ===
✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.
Thanks for sharing the login details. I've noticed that pages with translations in other languages show the language switcher correctly. For the remaining pages, you need to add the translation, and it will display the language switcher correctly.
For example, the FAQ page shows a plus(+) icon, which means the translation hasn't been added yet. On the other hand, the contact page shows a pencil icon, indicating the translation is added, and the language switcher will display correctly.
Please complete the translations for the pages. If the language switcher still doesn't appear after adding the translation, let me know, and I'll check and debug it further.
