Solution:

Hello There, To reduce the waiting time, I took this ticket and responded in English. Please let me know if you're okay with it or want to continue the conversation in Spanish language. I will check and forward this ticket to one of our Spanish supporters to assist you in Spanish language. I understand the issue you're experiencing. Could you please check what happens when you keep only the WPML, String Translation, and JetEngine plugins enabled while disabling all others? If the issue is resolved with only these three plugins active, it indicates that a third-party plugin might be conflicting with String Translation and causing the issue. To identify the conflicting plugin, start activating the other plugins one by one. After activating each plugin, refresh the page and check if the issue recurs. This way, you'll be able to pinpoint which plugin is causing the problem. However, if the issue persists even with only these three plugins enabled, I will need to check the error log to understand the source of the problem. Since 500 errors are related to the server, please reach out to your hosting/server administrator and ask them to check the server error log when the 500 error occurs. You can request the server error log from them and share the log with us in your next response. I will review the information and advise you on the next steps. Let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best regards, |

Hi, Thank you for your help. I was able to deactivate the plugins one by one, and I can confirm that the issue disappears when deactivating the plugins Elementor. So I believe that the error is related to something between WPML Strings and Elementor, since both plugins cannot be active at the same time. (but I need elementor, because when I deactivate it, all my web is visually broken) How can I solve this? Also, I checked the server logs and this error appears multiple times: [Mon May 20 15:57:45 2024] [error] [client 213.96.83.218] [host tools.idealearning.eu] AH10141: FastCGI: comm with server "/homez.1624/idealet/www/index.php" aborted: idle timeout (160 sec) Which makes sense because the error 500 appears after a long loading time. Thanks |

Hello David, Based on the server error log, it appears that there is a timeout error, with the FastCGI process timing out while communicating with the PHP script. However, since the issue disappears upon deactivating the Elementor plugin, it is possible that a specific PHP script within Elementor is taking too long to execute, causing the FastCGI process to time out. Please try disabling the experimental features that are in the Alpha and Beta stages, and check again. You can find these experimental features by going to Elementor > Settings > Features tab. If the issue persists, consider increasing the "max_execution_time" limit and check again. According to the WPML debug info, the limit is currently set to 165 seconds, but the recommended limit is 300 seconds. Please refer to the guide below to understand the process. - enlace oculto Please let me know how it goes. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best regards, |

Hello, I have followed all the steps indicated, but the problem persists. Tried to deactivate all the features on the Features tab of Elementor, and I increase the max_execution_time from wp-config, and in the .user.ini, but the problem persists. the logs are still the same, they show the same error: [Tue May 21 13:57:25 2024] [error] [client 213.96.83.218] [host tools.idealearning.eu] AH10141: FastCGI: comm with server "/homez.1624/idealet/www/index.php" aborted: idle timeout (160 sec), referer: enlace oculto |

I was doing a quick research and the max_execution_time is set by the hosting provided (OVH in this case), so the only way to modify it, is to upgrade to a dedicated server, and edit it. Anyway, is there any other solution to this?. Even if I would be able to edit this configuration, I cannot tell the users that will use the website to wait 5 minutes to load every pages of the web. thanks! |

Hello David, As the issue persists, a closer inspection will be required to understand the root cause of the issue. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you. IMPORTANT Looking forward to your response. Best Regards, |

Hi, Just to confirm, that I'm OK with you duplicating the site in a local environment. Thanks! |

Hello There, Thank you for sharing the access information. Upon reviewing the settings, I found that the 'Rewrite' feature was activated for the 'IDEAL Apps' post type within JetEngine. Once I disabled the 'Rewrite' option (Screenshot: enlace oculto), the posts started loading properly, even when the String Translation plugin was enabled. As the slug for rewrite is the same as the Post type slug, keeping that option disabled will not cause any issues with the post type. Let me know if that helps or if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help. Best regards, |
