Here's what's happening: When you create a translation using WPML and try to access the translated page by manually adding the language code to the URL while keeping the default page slug, the plugin's redirection feature will redirect you to the correct translation. This ensures there are no errors and that visitors remain engaged with the website.
However, these incorrect URLs should be filtered out from the sitemap before it is submitted to Google Search Console. From the WPML debug info, I noticed that you're using the Yoast SEO plugin, which usually creates the sitemap, but, the WPML SEO addon, which should be filtering out these redirect URLs, is missing from your site. Please try the following steps, and I hope they will help resolve the issue you encountered in Search Console:
1. Activate the WPML SEO plugin. If you haven't installed it yet, go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial tab from your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Go to Yoast SEO > Settings.
3. Scroll down to the XML sitemaps card and toggle the switch to disable the feature.
4. Clear the caches from your site, browser, and, if enabled, Cloudflare.
5. Go to Settings > Permalinks and resave the permalink structure.
6. Re-enable the XML Sitemap feature.
7. Go to Yoast SEO > General and click the Start SEO Data Optimization button.
