I’m experiencing issues, when I want to review one of my custom post types pages (Artists: Romily) I always get the (attached) error message. Why do I get this Error? And is there another way to review / edit the translation of this Page?

Hey there,

I checked your website directly, and didn't find any issues. I went to WPML > Translations and clicked on "Review" for the Romily Artist. I was able to see the review page with no issues - check the attached image. Can you confirm if the issue is still there?

Yeah i actually retranslated this artist, thats why you can see it properly now. but when you check out custom post type pages such as the artist david villefort or pacha ibiza club table page, you will see the essential info is missing. When I retranslate it, it always costs me credits again. your colleague said something about translation memory, but it seems as if i still have to pay credits for all these pages i already translated.

Hello there,

I checked the artist David Villefort, and the Pacha Ibiza Club Table, and the same happened in both scenarios:

1. I clicked the eye-icon and got to the WPML Translation Editor, showing new translations;
2. I saved and checked the translation review;

In both cases, it seems that there were previous untranslated content, as the editor opened and showed new translations added (meaning new content was registered before you first finished the translations). I then opened the translations again, and the content was there, saved as expected. I also checked our internal Translation Memory System, and noted that the credits were spent only the first time around.

I couldn't see any issues so far. If you are having an issue, can you please try creating it from scratch? Like adding a new artist and then a translation. I want to check if I can reproduce it myself.

As for texts like "Suitable for ...", "More Artists" etc, it's likely that they need translation in WPML > String Translation. Make sure to scan related plugins and themes, on WPML > Theme and Plugin localization first.
