[Risolto] WPML rewrites htaccess file breaking all the pages in the front but the home

I have contacted siteground for an issue that seemed server-side, every now and then, totally random, and for 5 times over the past 2 months, all the pages but the homepage of full-immersion.com gave an Internal server error (SEE ATTACHMENT).

After reinstalling a backup everything went back working fine, and then, totally random, after an undefined period of time, the issue would pop back again.

This time I opened a ticket with the server guys before installing the backup, as they suggested, since it was the only way for them to check the error log. They told me that there were two lines of the htaccess file that were rewritten possibly by a language translation plugin and that it was an error they had seen before.

Siteground suggested me to delete the bit of text pertaining to the language subdirectory (/pt-br/) from those lines in the htaccess (SEE ATTACHMENT). After doing so, it all went back to working conditions.

WHAT I NEED: Now, I'm worried that this may happen again, and I would like your help to see what I can do to prevent this behavior in the future.
