Problem: While translating the website into English and French from Italian, all translations remained in 'draft' status despite being marked as completed. Even after manually confirming translations in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) and re-importing the XLIFF files with corrected unique codes, the translations did not appear on the front end or in the ATE. Attempts to use the WPML Classic Editor for importing XLIFF files also failed, and even after deleting and recreating the translation jobs, the issue persisted. Solution: The issue was due to modifications made to the pages after the translation jobs were sent. To resolve this, it was necessary to compare the old and new XLIFF files and manually transfer the translated strings from the old file to the new one. This process ensured that the translations matched the current version of the pages.
