Problem: You have translated pages automatically using WPML and now a translator wants to make changes. However, the translator does not have access to make these changes. Solution: First, ensure that you have added the local translator correctly by following the steps on this documentation page: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-admin-capabilities/#add-translator. Once the translator is added, go to WPML -> Translation Management. Here, select the content you want to send for translation and choose 'Send it for translation' (not automatic translation). Finally, assign it to the corresponding translator in the Translation Basket tab.

Problem: The client's website is in three languages (FR, Dutch, EN), and they noticed that the "Next" and "Previous" buttons at the end of their articles were not translated into Dutch, despite the strings being translated in the WPML String Translation. Solution: We found that these strings are part of an Elementor template. We recommend translating the Elementor template directly. Le client souhaitait donner accès aux traduction à son SEO Manager.
Solution:
SEO manager est un rôle créé par le plugin Yoast SEO. Pour accéder aux traductions, le compte doit avoir le rôle de traducteur dans WPML. Et s'il doit éditer les traductions faites par un autre, il doit avoir le rôle d'éditeur dans WordPress.
- Ajoutez le compte comme traducteur dans "WPML > Gestion de traduction" puis l'onglet "Traducteurs"
- Notez aussi que les capacités de WordPress s'appliquent toujours, c'est à dire que si un utilisateur est "Auteur" il ne pourra éditer que les posts/pages dont il est auteur. Il lui faudra le rôle d'éditeur afin de pouvoir éditer les posts/pages/traductions créés par d'autres utilisateurs.
