Problem: The client reported an issue where a new URL (costabravaboat.com/en) was created after installing and activating the WPML plugin for translating content into Spanish. This URL was not supposed to exist, and Google had already crawled it, showing an error due to no content being published at that address. Solution: We asked the client to confirm where they were seeing the new URL being created, as our review of the page source and the sitemap did not show any reference to the /en/ URL. Based on the current configuration, such a URL should not have been generated or crawled. We provided screenshots to help the client verify this on their end.
